Plant sale

 

We hold a plant sale every year, in The Shed at the allotments, to replenish club funds and give everyone the chance to buy great plants at very good prices.

 

You can also buy refreshments – tea, coffee and lovely home-made cakes.

 

Our members work hard all year, growing seeds and dividing plants, and making cakes

Date – Sale Day is Saturday 10 May from 10-4.

Donations

• Donations of plants are best dropped off at The Shed after 3.00 on Friday 9th, or between 9 and 10.00 on Saturday morning. If these times are really inconvenient, leave them in outside The Shed earlier in the week.

• Cakes can be dropped off at The Shed after 3.00 on Friday 9th, or any time on Sale Day.

 

Parking - Parking at The Shed is limited.

• Garden Club members – please park on the allotment site itself,. For those unfamiliar with parking there, drive down the narrow road towards the Cricket Ground and turn into Track 1. Park at end. Drive out on Track 2.
• This should allow some space for non-members to park on Albany Road. 
• You can also park at Priory Park and walk down.
• The space immediately in front of The Shed is for pick-up and drop-off only.

 

Allotment holders - Mowers will not be available on Sale Day. However they will be available on Friday 9^th from 3.00 – 6.00 PM, and on Sunday as usual.
